ISBN: 978-0-6481335-7-5 Cirrhosis
The Cirrhosis case is a case that has virtually no prompts for students other than the E H R content, 24 hour recall from prior to hospitalization dietary intake and videos of conversation with Ava during hospitalization. It requires students to seek out relevant guidance from clinical practice guidelines and texts, and completely independently write a progress note that would summarize their comprehensive nutrition assessment and plan in a nutrition progress note template similar to what they would have in an E H R on Day 2-3 of the hospitalization and a second note document what documents what they think they would have provided as a discharge diet instruction.
